A false prophet was needed. The British chose Mirza Qadiani for this purpose so that he would claim that Allah had sent him as a prophet and declared Jihad to be forbidden. Mirza Qadiani spent his life opposing Islam and furthering the interests of the British government, attempting to stop Muslims from engaging in Jihad. In this way, he became an instrument of the British, teaching Muslims to abandon Jihad against them.

“To this day, around thirty thousand or slightly more are with me, living in various parts of British India. Every person who swears allegiance to me and believes me to be the Promised Messiah must adopt the belief that Jihad is absolutely forbidden in this time. This is because the Messiah has come, and according to my teaching, they must also become true well-wishers of the British government.”

Mirza Qadiani’s Claim on Jihad and His Teachings
“Now, let go of the thought of Jihad, O friends, For war and combat are now forbidden in religion.
The Messiah has come, the leader of the faith, Now all the wars of the religion have come to an end.
The light of God has descended from the sky, Now the fatwa on war and Jihad is meaningless.
The enemy of God is the one who now engages in Jihad, The one who denies the Prophet holds this belief.”

Mirza Qadiani’s Support for British Rule and Its Contradiction with Jihad
Mirza Qadiani’s community not only claimed that Jihad was forbidden but also emphasized the importance of supporting and being loyal to the British government. Despite this, surprisingly, a large number of Qadianis have joined the Pakistani military, which is a serious concern. The contradiction arises because the primary mission and motto of the Pakistani military is Jihad, while the beliefs of the Qadianis regard Jihad as forbidden.
The Contradiction with the Pakistani Military’s Mission
This becomes a serious issue because the faith and beliefs of the individuals in the military should align with military principles, especially when Jihad plays a central role in the military’s purpose. According to Mirza Qadiani’s belief, for his followers, Jihad is not only unnecessary but forbidden. This contradiction has led to the longstanding demand among Muslims that the Pakistani army should be cleansed of Qadianis so that the beliefs of its personnel do not contradict the military’s motto.
The Need for Resolution in the Pakistani Army
In the current atmosphere of the Pakistani military, where the belief in Jihad holds a central position, the presence of Qadianis raises a question. Therefore, it is essential that this issue is not ignored, and steps are taken towards a unanimous decision to protect the moral and religious identity of the Pakistani military.
